These terms apply to all services sold by Victory Studio — website design and development, hosting and care plans, and custom development — and to all payments made to us, whether by invoice or by card. By accepting a quote, authorising a card payment or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

Victory Studio is the trading name of Victor Jakob Gressier, a sole trader registered in Iceland. All agreements are made with, and all payments are received by, the seller below.

2. Our services

• Website design & build — a one-time project to design, develop and launch a website, as described in a written quote.
• Hosting & care — a recurring monthly (or yearly) plan covering hosting, SSL, monitoring, updates and small content edits.
• Custom development — booking systems, online payments, integrations and other features, quoted per project at a fixed price or hourly rate.

Current prices are shown on our services page. The scope, price and timeline of each project are confirmed in a written quote or agreement sent by email, which takes precedence over general descriptions on this website.

3. Quotes and agreements

A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An agreement is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is sufficient) or pay the first invoice or deposit. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it is carried out.

4. Prices and VAT

All prices are in Icelandic króna (ISK). Victory Studio is not registered for VAT (VSK). Prices are final and include no VAT. If Victory Studio becomes VAT-registered, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any change to how VAT is applied to recurring plans.

5. Payment

Project fees

Project fees are invoiced as set out in the quote — typically a deposit before work starts and the balance on launch. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed, by bank transfer or card.

Recurring plans

Hosting & care plans and other subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. When you set up a plan, you authorise us to charge the card you register for the agreed amount on each billing date until you cancel. The amount, frequency and billing date are shown to you before you authorise the card.

Card payments

Card payments (Visa and Mastercard) are processed securely by our licensed payment provider. Card details are entered directly with the provider; Victory Studio never receives or stores your full card number or security code. We store only the card brand, last four digits and expiry date so we can show you which card is on file.

Late or failed payments

If a payment fails we will notify you and retry. If an invoice remains unpaid 30 days after its due date, we may pause hosting or ongoing work after giving written notice. Statutory late-payment interest under Icelandic law may be charged on overdue amounts.

6. Delivery of services

All services are delivered digitally. Websites are delivered by publishing them to your domain or by providing access to the finished site; the expected timeline is given in your quote and depends on timely feedback and content from you. Hosting & care plans start on the date stated in your agreement and continue each period until cancelled. No physical goods are shipped.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing content (text, images, logos) in good time and for having the right to use it. You must not use a website or service we provide for anything unlawful. You remain the owner of your domain name; we may register or manage it on your behalf if agreed.

8. Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, you own the finished website design and your content. We retain ownership of our general tools, code libraries and know-how, and grant you a permanent licence to use them as part of your website. Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a recurring plan at any time. Our cancellation and refund rules, including your statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer, are set out in our Refunds & cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Availability and liability

We use reputable hosting infrastructure and monitor sites for downtime, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory Icelandic consumer law.

11. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes affecting an active recurring plan will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance; you may cancel before they take effect.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. We will always try to resolve a complaint directly — please email victor@mama.is. Consumers may also refer a dispute to the Complaints Committee for Goods and Services (Kærunefnd vöru- og þjónustukaupa). Any dispute that cannot be resolved otherwise will be brought before the District Court of Reykjavík (Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur).
